little suggestion
since ecto prices are ever-changing, and you can'y carry too much money per account...
why not make an item that can be bought at the merchant for 10k, sold to the merchant for 10k, and has absolutely no use except allowing us to have better ways of trading? |

An older MMORPG, Asheron's Call had a system of trade notes that worked similar to what you're describing. You could buy a trade note at any merchant for various denomination values (1k, 5k, 10k, 100k, etc.) for I think a small extra service fee (5% I think it was) but it really helped cut down on the inventory clutter (coins also had weight in that game, which was a whole other problem)

^ Exactly what I'm worried about. But it's possible Anet would make the service fee equal to the bonus of added storage. If they don't farmers could probably make more money all around.
